Partnership Opportunity 4 to 6 sessions, West Sussex, starting August 2021

We are excited to welcome a new 4 to 6 session clinical Partner to join our existing leadership team due to a reduction in sessions from a retiring Partner, in August. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person with proven leadership qualities to share their clinical skills, innovation and inspiration in an environment that promotes excellence. In your new role you will be supported by our efficient and proactive management and admin team.  If new to Partnership you would be eligible for the £20,000 New to Partnership Scheme ‘golden handshake’.

We are a two-site Practice based in semi-rural Cuckfield and Haywards Heath, providing patient centred care to a growing list of 12,200 patients.  Situated in Mid Sussex, the practice is easily accessible from surrounding towns by excellent road and rail links.  You would be joining 3 existing clinical Partners who are passionate about providing excellent patient care within a supportive and empathetic environment. We are an active member of our PCN and enjoy great working relationships with the other 3 practices.

We seek to adopt innovative ways of delivering care and have a diverse multi-disciplinary team including pharmacists, nurses, paramedics & first contact physios.  We have a strong team-based approach resulting in a happy, conscientious and supportive environment for the entire practice.  We highly value our team’s well-being and have adopted initiatives including, regular Microsoft Teams huddles, baking competitions and working from home set ups.  We have fully embraced the new range of electronic systems available to the NHS and use AccuRx, Teams, TeamsNET  e-Consult and remote logins to enhance our clinical services.

Both our sites are modern purpose-built healthcare centres, with plenty of free on-site parking.  We share our Haywards Heath site with the local MSK Service who occupy the first floor.  We also host a range of additional NHS services including ultrasound, wound care and midwifery, which enhances the experience for our patients.

Our practice is rated as ‘Good’ across all domains by CQC.  We are a training practice, proud to support both Trainees and a GP Retainer.  We host medical students, foundation doctors and GP trainees each year as well as several allied healthcare students. We have a strong focus on education with weekly tutorials for trainees   in addition to monthly clinical practice meetings for all clinical staff. We are currently looking at ways to develop and expand shared learning opportunities for all staff with our PCN partners.

We would invite you to open a dialogue with us to explore the possibility of working with us. If you would like to discuss this opportunity further please email our Practice Manager, or apply via the e-mail below with your CV and covering letter: jessyaxley@nhs.net
